Why Do You Dream? Read more about my dreams here

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
Martin Luther King, Jr.

MLK has to be one of the most influential figures of the 20th century. His ideologies of equality, non-violence, and ending world hunger allowed for him to reach a point of global recognition. Today in history, Oct. 14, 1964, civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. was named winner of the Nobel Peace Prize. The award made the world stop and look at the what was occurring in the U.S. and in the black community. It is time we refocus our energies to local politics and giving back to the future generation. We all have dreams and want to see them come into fruition. Martin demonstrated that through love and determination your dreams for world peace can be a reality.
