Former guard for the Celtics Leandro Barbosa is back! The Brazilian NBA player also known as the “Brazilian Blur” is in recuperation after ACL surgery and looks to be rehabilitating just fine! Barbosa originally signed with the Boston Celtics October 18, 2012. While playing a game against the Charlotte Bob Cats, Leandrinho suffered a torn ACL in his left knee. February 21, 2013, Barbosa was traded along with Jason Collins to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Jordan Crawford.
Barbosa comments on his progress through Twitter stating:
Today everyone I am very happy, I made my first ball training. And best of all, my body responded very well!!
Despite Barbosa’s past injury, the progress demonstrated in the Youtube clip signifys his enthusiasm for the upcoming NBA season.
